The „Buzludzha Project Foundation”
is a Bulgarian non-profit organisation
founded in 2015 by architect Dora Ivanova.

The Foundation has one ultimate goal:
the preservation of Buzludzha Monument.

Thanks to the persistence in this cause:
In 2018 the monument was recognized by Europe's largest cultural heritage organization Europa Nostra as one of the "7 Most Endangered" cultural sites in Europe.
In 2019 the monument received a grant of $ 185,000 from the Getty Foundation for the development of a Conservation Management Plan.
In 2020 the monument received a grant of $ 60,000 from the Getty Foundation for the Emergency Stabilization of Mosaics.

arch. Dora Ivanova is founder and director of the Buzludzha Project Foundation. She works actively for the cause since 2015 and at the moment is a main coordinator of the international projects Concervation Management Plan and Emergency Stabilizations of the Mosaics of Buzludzha monument.
