DJ Contest
Open buzludzha 2024
Rules for participation:
1. Record a 1-hour set on equipment of your choice.
2. Upload the set to soundcloud.
3. Use the special thumbnail by downloading it here.
4. In the title, put your nickname and the contest in the form
"Nickname - OPEN BUZLUDZHA 2024 DJ Contest".
5. In the tags section, put the openbuzludzha tag.
6. The competition period is until May 31, 2024.
7. The organizers will announce the 3 semi-finalists on June 8.
8. The 3 semi-finalist sets will be announced in a poll to be published in this year's festival event.
9. The set with the most votes will be the finalist!
10. The finalist will be announced on June 30th at 7pm!
Conditions for the winner:
1. Purpose of the competition: Performing an opening set on the Monument Stage during the first night of the event on Thursday, August 8, 2024, lasting 2 hours.
2. Interpretation of the opening set: The DJ is encouraged to interpret the concept of the opening set creatively. This includes setting the mood, building anticipation and preparing the audience for the night's subsequent performances.
3. Music selection: The set can include a variety of genres and styles while maintaining unity and harmony throughout the 2-hour duration.
4. Sound and equipment: DJ-ят носи отговорност за правилната работа на звуковото оборудване и всяко друго необходимо оборудване за сета. Всякакви технически изисквания трябва да бъдат предварително комуникирани c организаторите на събитието.
5. Professional conduct: The DJ is expected to conduct himself professionally throughout the performance period, including punctuality, adherence to event guidelines and respect for staff and attendees.
6. Promotional activities: DJ-ят трябва да бъде готов да участва в промоционални дейности, свързани със събитието, като интервюта, публикации в социалните мрежи или създаване на промоционален материал, както е необходимо според организаторите на събитието.
7. Cancellation of the game: Event organizers reserve the right to request cancellation of participation if deemed necessary to ensure the success of the event and the satisfaction of participants.
8. Accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses: The winner of the contest will receive a free overnight stay and travel reimbursement.
