Camping Area – General Terms & Conditions
WELCOME!
The Camping Area is designated for festival attendees who wish to stay overnight in tents, campers, or caravans.
By entering the Camping Area, all visitors acknowledge and accept these General Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them throughout their stay. The Organizers reserve the right to restrict access or remove individuals who violate these rules or pose a risk to other visitors.
1. General Information
The festival takes place within the territory of the National Park-Museum “Shipka – Buzludzha”..
The summer season carries an increased risk of wildfires. All visitors share responsibility for protecting the natural environment. Any actions that may endanger other campers or surrounding forest areas are strictly prohibited.
2. Access & Registration
Access to the Camping Area requires a valid Camping Pass, purchased together with the festival ticket. Upon first entry, visitors receive:a
- festival wristband;
- an additional wristband granting access to the Camping Area.
Wristbands serve as personal access credentials for multiple entries and exits. Wristbands are non-transferable and must be worn at all times. Entry without a wristband is not permitted.
3. Operating Hours
- Friday: 10:00 – 00:00
- Saturday: 10:00 – 00:00
- Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00
Access or accommodation outside operating hours is not permitted.
4. Accommodation & Placement
Accommodation is allocated based on availability upon arrival. Pre-booking specific spots is not offered. The Organizers may require relocation of tents or equipment if improperly placed or obstructing access, movement, or operational services.
5. Tent Area Regulations
Luggage unloading is permitted only at the designated drop-off point near the ski zone junction. Vehicles must then be parked in the official parking area. No motor vehicles are allowed beyond the unloading zone. The walking distance to the tent meadows is approximately 250 meters.
The following are not permitted: construction of fences, large shelters, improvised structures, or installations occupying excessive space; blocking access to water taps, tables, or communal areas;disposal of waste, sanitary water, or technical liquids onto the ground.
All waste must be collected and disposed of at designated points.
6. Provided Facilities
Visitors with a valid Camping Pass have access to temporary festival infrastructure, including:
- chemical toilets;
- temporary showers;
- running mountain water;
- lighting;
- charging stations for mobile devices;
- Wi-Fi hotspot;
- waste containers;
- assistance from volunteers at the Camping Center;
- infrastructure maintenance throughout the festival;
- a designated parking zone;
- panoramic views of the monument.
NB! Mobile network coverage in the area is extremely limited.
7. Showers
Showers are part of the temporary outdoor infrastructure. Their capacity is limited. Visitors are expected to use them responsibly and with consideration for others. .. .

8. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited within the Camping Area:
- lighting fires;
- use of barbecues, grills, or any open-flame devices;
- use of pyrotechnics or sky lanterns;
- use of fuel-powered generators;
- possession of flammable substances, firearms, or weapons;
- possession or use of illegal drugs;
- commercial activity without authorization from the Organizers;
- operation of motor vehicles outside designated zones;
- use of loud sound equipment disturbing other campers;
- disposal of waste outside designated containers.
9. Food & Beverages
Visitors may bring food and beverages for personal consumption.
Food must be stored in closed containers to avoid attracting animals. Reusable containers and utensils are recommended.
Cooking using open fire, barbecues, grills, gas stoves, or any device with a flame or heating element is strictly prohibited.
10. Waste Management & Environmental Protection
Visitors are responsible for all waste generated during their stay.
Waste must be disposed of only in designated containers. Leaving waste around tents, campers, pathways, or natural areas is prohibited. Do not leave cigarette butts, food scraps, plastic packaging, wet wipes, sanitary materials, or other waste on the ground. Damaging trees, bushes, grass areas, rock formations, signage, or any part of the natural or festival environment is prohibited.
Upon departure, visitors must leave their spot in its original condition.
11. Conduct & Noise Regulations
The Camping Area is a shared space. Visitors must respect others and avoid excessive noise. After 23:00, loud music, speakers, musical instruments, or any disruptive behavior are not permitted.
Aggressive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited.
12. Pets
Pets are welcome but must remain under constant supervision. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.
The Organizers may refuse access or require removal of any animal causing danger, excessive noise, or significant disturbance.
13. Personal Belongings & Liability
Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings, tents, equipment, and vehicles. The Organizers are not liable for lost, forgotten, damaged, or stolen items. Valuables should not be left unattended.
Lost or found items should be reported to the Camping Center.
14. Weather Conditions
The Camping Area is located in a high-mountain region with rapidly changing weather. Visitors are advised to bring warm clothing, waterproof gear, suitable footwear, headlamps, and sun protection.
Tents and equipment must be securely fastened. Lightweight items should not be left unsecured.
15. Access to the Festival Zone
The walking distance from the Camping Area to the monument is approximately 15–20 minutes..
Visitors are advised to use the asphalt road.
Crossing the grassy ski slope is not shorter, and the terrain is steep. It also passes through the main parking zone, creating inconvenience for both pedestrians and vehicles.
